Individual art therapy provides a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space to explore and work through one's internal emotions, thoughts and memories. Art making and reflection offers a new way of communication which can assist emotional growth and well-being in a safe therapeutic relationship. No art experience is needed to benefit from art therapy, these sessions are also valuable for those who consider themselves to be doing OK, but want to learn how to feel and function better.
Art therapy groups provide a safe, therapeutic space to experience creative expression with others. As a result, greater personal awareness can be developed, helping participants gain new insights into their own behaviour. This process can offer a fresh perspective on interpersonal relationships with friends, colleagues, and loved ones.
All groups are tailored to support the needs and objectives of participants, providing specialised support for community programs, corporate well-being, and mental health agencies. Groups can also be offered at your preferred location if required.
Art therapy is funded under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and can be included in an individuals plan to support capacity, building, and daily living skills. If you are an individual with an NDIS plan, a carer, service provider, or plan manager, I am able to offer individualised therapeutic support to help the participant reach their goals.
Art therapy groups and individual consultation can support your corporate wellbeing program by providing mental health or resilience training, consultation and coaching. To generate innovative ideas from their staff art therapy wellness coaching provides a tailor made service with a powerful methodology as a transformational tool to generate changes in behaviour and in team culture. All corporate wellbeing packages are tailored to the specific needs and objectives of your organisation.
Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) is a goal-directed therapeutic approach that integrates the unique bond between humans and animals to support emotional well-being, enhance communication, and promote healing. Meet Pearl — a two-year-old chocolate Labrador currently in training to become a certified AAT dog. With her gentle temperament and affectionate nature, Pearl has a natural ability to bring comfort and connection to those around her. She is expected to complete her certification and begin working alongside clients in January 2026.
